Miženková, Martina. Protection of personal data and privacy of employees in practice in a business company. Thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. The diploma thesis deals with the protection of personal data. As part of the literature search, the issue of personal data protection, basic terms, rights and obligations of the parties involved, or sanctions threatened in the event of their violation based on the General Regulation. As part of the practical part of the thesis, the protection of personal data in the selected company is evaluated in practice during individual phases of the employment relationship. On the basis of the analysis, deficiencies that are not in accordance with the current legislation are assessed. Subsequently, on the basis of the results of the analysis of personal data protection in the company, appropriate recommendations are proposed, the financial complexity is calculated at the end of the thesis.

Protection of personal data in the decision-making practice of the Office for Personal Data Protection Abstract This work is devoted to the right to personal data protection, which is constitutionally protected in the Czech Republic. According to Article 10, paragraph 3 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, which is part of the constitutional order of the Czech Republic, "Everyone has the right to protection against unauthorized collection, disclosure or other misuse of personal data". The right to personal data protection responds flexibly to global socio-technological developments, which reflects not only the European regulation of the right to personal data protection, but also the case law of European courts and the decision-making practice of individual European data protection authorities. The dissertation is divided into four separate parts (chapters), which are thematically related to personal data protection. The first chapter deals with the international and European development of the right to personal data protection and the development of the right to personal data protection in the Czech Republic. This rigorous thesis deals with the protection of personal data. This is an issue relating to each of us, thereby personal data and its protection becomes very significant legal phenomenon. The thesis includes alongside the initial part, where a concept of personal data and a sense of its protection is described, also treatise on historical development of international law on protection of personal data and on constitutional ground too. The largest part is devoted to the Act on the Protection of Personal Data and its legal regulation of protection of personal data, which is also the main formal source of its legislation. It is followed by the part dedicated to the protection of personal data according to selected special laws. And the last part of the thesis is a treatise on the possibilities of judicial protection. The thesis strives for comprehensive and thoroughgoing analysis of protection of personal data in terms of generally binding legal regulations, and for the identification of weaknesses in the legislation on protection of personal data, as well as for its clear and logical submission eligible also for use of law laymen.

Hercík, J. Protection of Privacy and Personal data of Employees in a Business Organization. Master's thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2017. The thesis is focused on the protection of personal data and privacy under an employment relationship. The main aim of this thesis is to suggest specific corrective measures to a business organization in order to ensure an alignment between its current situation and the legislation of the Czech Republic. The literary research represents an introduction to the topic of personal data protection and privacy. Definitions of its basic concepts are put into context of the legislation of the Czech Republic. The original research part contains an analysis of personal data protection and privacy measures in a chosen business organization throughout its complete process from staff selection to termination of employment. As a result of a comparison between this analysis and the current legislation of the Czech Republic, proposals to introduce specific corrective measures are presented.

The master thesis is focused on the protection of privacy and personal data in labour-law relations. The literature review is devoted to defining the terminology, the legal base of the protection of privacy and personal data, the rights and obligations of the parties and also the legal consequences arising from a breach of the obligations imposed. The original research part analyses issue of protection of privacy and personal data in a specific enterprise. Attention is given to monitored processes prior to labour-law relation and during that, including processes taking place after the end of the labour-law relationship. The attention is paid to all types of monitoring ongoing in workplace. Comparison of identified facts with the current legislation of the Czech Republic in some cases need recommendations, which are mentioned in this thesis, too.

The diploma thesis is focused on the protection of privacy and personal data in labour relations. The literature research is devoted to the definition of basic terms, the legal base of the protection of personal data and privacy, the rights and obligations of the parties, the supervisory authority and the sanctions related to the non-compliance of obligations imposed by the law. The research focuses on the conflict of interest of the employer and the right to privacy of the employee and the degree of legitimacy of workplace monitoring. The original research part deals with the analysis of personal data protection and privacy measures in the chosen business organization during the whole process from the beginning of the selection process, during the duration of the employment relationship to its termination. Subsequently, the ways of monitoring employees and their legitimacy are evaluated. Based on analysed facts, corrective recommendations, including the economic aspect, are proposed in conclusion of the thesis.

The diploma thesis is focused on the protection of privacy and personal data in labor-law relations. The original research part deals with the analysis of the procedures for the protection and processing of personal data of employees and privacy at the workplace of the chosen company. The attention is focused on the processes from the beginning of the selection process, during the employment relationship and after the end of labor-law relationship. Further, the ways of monitoring employees and their legitimacy are evaluated. Based on analysed and identified shortcomings and errors, corrective recommendations are proposed in conclusion of the thesis, which will ensure compliance with valid legislation of the Czech Republic and the European Union.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of personal data protection, i.e. data which security in contemporary digitaly interconnected wold concerns each one of us. Included literary research covers the basic concepts of the existing law which re-gulates the issue of personal data protection. Particular attention is paid to the new European Parliament resolution The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The core of the thesis rellies in the application of the summed knowledge to a particular business company. Said entity processes the personal data of its em-ployees from the beginning of the employment relationship to it’s end and, to so-me extent, even further. Its systems also include personal data of customers, ma-inly related to their individual purchase contracts.

The main part of the thesis is devoted to the institute of remediation belonging to remedies with its own specifics. The institute can be defended against the decision of the central administrative authority, the minister or the head of another central administration issued in the first instance. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to identify the means of disintegration in connection with the remaining remedies and to incorporate it into the process of administrative proceedings not only in the background of the current legal system in force, but also in the context of public administration and changes made as part of territorial reform. The text also includes an analysis of the Office for Personal Data Protection and introduces its current chair. In addition to analyzing valid law, I also present proposals de lege ferenda.
